May Photo Shoots

Huntington Lake, California
& RoadTrip Shots
(3rd trip to the snow and my 1st time seeing the snow fall)

                                            (Frozen Sap)

I took a road trip to Hunting Lake, California with some friends in the end of May. It was a very interesting place. Sort of reminded me like Lake Tahoe a bit. We got there and it was snowing! The first time in 24 years it had snowed Memorial Day Weekend. It was a lot of fun. There weren't very many people there which made it very quiet and peaceful. Definitely a hidden beauty.

Golden Gate Bridge &
China Camp State Park, CA

I spent part of Mother's Day weekend at stunning China Camp (delightful scenery, lovely family, and happy memories).

Golden Gate Park's  Rose Garden &
Arboretum (San Francisco Botanical Garden)
May 18th, 2012

Golden Gate Park is one of my favorite place to shoot. I love the diversity of plants, flowers, animals and structures found within its admirable and enchanting manmade landscapes.

Point Reyes, California
(From an older shoot during Summer 2011)

Point Reyes is fascinating place. A great place for hikes, sightseeing and photography.

Early 2012

Mt. Tamalpais
January 2012

Awesome hike on Mt. Tam. Exquisite waterfalls and landscapes. Best photo shoot/workout I've had in a long time.

Salt Point State Park,
February 2012

We were driving on HWY 1N, super windy, marvelous and scenic and we were stopped by cows standing in the middle of the road. It was such an odd, silly and very unexpected sight to see. However, I got some pretty awesome photos of the cows and on such a beautiful road, alluring coast and beautiful day, I didn't mind having to stop and document for a couple moments.

Pigeon Point
February 2012
While visiting my friend in Santa Cruz, we stopped to do some extreme tide pooling.

Lands End

Bouquet de Art
De Young Museum, San Francisco
March 2012

This is a tradition I share with my mother (Betsy Brown). The diverse and unique floral plant life including in the sculptures are truly beautiful. The artistically designed and sculpted pieces mock other artworks in the museum. A really amazing exhibit to see and photograph.
